The utter irony is that the crowd booed madeline albright, who - last time i checked - is a woman. Hmm.

Welcome All!

Hi all and welcome to the new UC Women's Studies blog! We're hoping that this will serve as a place for students and faculty to get information about on and off-campus events, as well as a forum for lively discussion about feminist issues of all kinds.

This blog is seriously under construction and will, of course, be a work in progress. With that in mind, please be patient as we add content, links, and hopefully other bloggers to this project.

If you'd like more information on how to contribute or if you have suggestions for content, please by all means send them my way! You can reach me here: ucwsblog at gmail dot com. (Um, replace the words with the appropriate symbols there. I hate spambots.)

So welcome and enjoy. Let's connect and do some rabble-rousing!
